Suspending indoor classes through the holidays
Playful and creative sequences rhythmically link breath to slow and mindful movement while building strength, balance and flexibility. Alignment is emphasized and modifications are offered. This is a multi-level class for the healthy body.
This is our most gentle class and perfect for the beginning student, the "creaky" student, or, for the seasoned student who wants to experience the benefits of a sweet, stretchy, nurturing practice. We will spend the time to stretch and open the lines of the body and pay special attention to our precious backs. Core and back strengthening postures will be emphasized, and gentle yoga postures will complete this yummy class. We may include Sound bath and various themes. Using breathwork, gentle flow of movement, & meditation, we will explore. We will look deeply at what it means to support ourselves throughout our everyday lives.
A quiet, small group setting will be utilized to ensure integrity, respect, & well-being.
This weekly class is designed to de-compress, to open our bodies and minds, and allow “life energy” to flow, thus restoring ourselves on a multitude of levels. Come join a class and see what it has to offer...just for you! Taught by Mark Hunsicker
